Lloyd's Music Mart started in business in January of 1973 in Morristown, Tennessee. The store's owner Philip Lloyd has been it's sole owner since it's opening. Starting with pianos and organs Lloyd's Music Mart slowly started adding other lines of instruments.
Branching into other instruments Lloyd's Music Mart begin selling such popular lines as Martin, Taylor, Takemine, Alvarez, Ibanez, G and L, Jackson, and Gretch, To fill the need for good quality banjos and mandolins Lloyd's Music Mart took on the lines of Morgan Monroe, Alvarez and Gold Star by Saga. Lloyd's Music Mart also sells the famous Roland line of Keyboards. As time went on and people's buying habits changed Lloyd's Music Mart stopped selling what it started out with. That was Wurlitzer pianos and organs, Hammond and Thomas organs, and the exciting Grand piano. But of course these lines were replaced by Roland. With Roland Lloyd's Music Mart covers not only digital pianos but a great selection of work stations, synths, and digital drums. Speaking of drums Lloyd's Music Mart sells the very popular Pearl and Tama drum lines and all their assessories. Lloyd's Music Mart sells several lines of guitar amps. A very good seller is the Crate guitar and acoustic amps. Right beside them are the Marshall and Roland Cube amps. There's an amp for about any person at Lloyd's Music Mart. No store is complete without a good strong PA line. With so many churches needing quality PA equipment Lloyd's Music Mart hooked with the popular Mackie and Tapco line of sound equipment. For years Crate has offered a good selection of speakers and Mix boards. As of recently the Peavey Architectural Acoustic line of church PA became available at Lloyd's Music Mart. An older British line called Warfedale offers fantastic PA effects Let's not forget Digitec. They makes a whole slew section of gear for PA.
